During the most part of the book percy and his friends are trying to solve the main problem which is find the stolen bolt and it's thief.they have to look for it but they only have a limited amount of time which is until the summer solstice to hand in the bolt to Zeus.since Zeus thought that percy was the one who stoled the lightning bolt he wants to start a war between gods.to avoid this they go on a quest and at the end they find out that Luke ,Percy's cousin ,and Kronos ,the Titan, where the ones who planned all of that so the gods would fight each other .

Some of the characters change trough out the book.percy the main character knows why he has ADHD ,why he is dyslexic and he also knows who his dad is.this changes him in a positive way because he has more confidence and he knows that any of that things that he didn't knew were. It his fault .another character that changed was Luke who betrayed him and tried to kill him

The title of my book is percy Jackson and the Olympians : the lightning thief.the title relates to the book first of all because the book is narrated by percy Jackson and its his life.in second place because since he is a demigod he is related to the gods that live in Olympus or come from there.the lightning thief part relates to the book because someone stole the  lightning bolt from Zeus .this title relates in everything with the story and the main things that happen or the most important.

The principle characters are percy, grover and annabeth.percy is a 12 year old boy with dark hair and green-blue eyes.he and annabeth have dyslexia and ADHD, they have this because they are demigods.annabeth is 12 years old and has blond hair and grey eyes.grover is a satyr with curly dark hair.they are all good friends.they go into a quest together.

So far only one conflict has occurred in the book.since percy has always been a very troubled kid they always expelled him from school .They sent him to yancy academy which is a boarding school for troubled kids .He was okay in there until strange things started happening. At first he thought it was his imagination but it wasn't. At the end of his 6th grade school year he got expelled and Grover his best friend was really concerned and scared because he thinks percy might die. Percy doesn't understand anything about the things that are happening.

Since the narrator of this book is the main character the only point of  view we know is  his. This affects the whole story because we can only read his thoughts  and things that happen to him and how he feels .This doesn't  give us the opportunity to know the other side of the story from the others character view.We cannot know how the others feel or think about something.even though we have all this limitations I think it's good that he is the narrator. I think this because he is the main character of the story and its his life that is being narrated so there's no one better to narrate it than himself.

The narrator of the book  "percy Jackson & the Olympians: the lightning thief"  is the main character. His name is percy Jackson and he is 12 years old.He lives in New York City  with his mother and his step father. I noticed he was narrating the story because he talked in first person and introduced himself as percy Jackson. 

Ever since I saw the first movie  I've always wanted to read the books.i liked the movie so much that I thought the books would be so much better because the scenes have no limits because I will imagine them.i had to choose this book because ms. Johnson told us we had to read a book. I like this assignment because its really easy and gives us a task that we will enjoy.plus it gives us a reason and time to read a book. I'm really looking forward to starting reading the book because I think I will be entertained for a long time.  I only hope that I can finish the book on time.
